Which Torrent client do you use and why? : linux For me it started ~ at 2k torrents, others tell different numbers (like 1.5k or 3k), but it always have this issue. rtorrent on countrary now handle ~4800 torrents for me, and I'm sure it will be fine with 10k. Another funny fact: rtorrent consumes less RAM and same CPU with 4k+ torrents as Deluge with ~40 torrents.
